Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for the emblem of a family trust. We are a family about building community, education and learning through real world and hands-on experience, leadership, and creating a personal legacy. We want this emblem to incorporate the capital letters "JM Davis", as both my wife and I have the same initials and we want this logo to be recognized as part of our legacy. We would like the logo to say "JM Davis Family Trust", with the letters "JM Davis" being able to stand on it's own as an independent logo if separated from the words "Family Trust". These same letters should have a bold look whether printed in color or black ink. We may use this universally for different applications, and want the letters "JM Davis" to be able to be recognized if printed or shown visually. We would love for this logo to incorporate the feel of higher education and prestigious ivy league level branding, and be unique and stand out. The color(s), if needed, should incorporate cranberry red, royal blue.

Must have

• The words "JM Davis Family Trust", the letters "JM DAVIS" must be able to stand on their own as a logo, must have a feel of a higher education ivy league college

Nice to have

• Color of cranberry red; think Harvard, Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, TN, etc.

Should not have

• Any ivy leaves or scroll looks. Should not have a lion or other similar mark typically used to denote "royalty", etc.
