Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new company which was bought from an existing company. We develop GPS software for the marine construction industry. (depth, elevations, water levels for clam shell buckets, hydraulic dredges, excavators and such) The company name is Sea Sight Systems & Services LLC. (emphasis on SEA SIGHT with systems & services being more of the formal name) and I like the idea of the four S's made to look like flowing water, but am open to any ideas. I will attach our previous logos for inspiration. We are looking for no more than 3 colors, not super detailed as we need the logo to be embroidered. If any text is created for the logo, we would need the full alphabet. We need a full length logo as well as an abbreviated/acronym version. I am also adding a design that we really like and would like you to use as inspiration.
