My family just purchased an existing business – Bixby Funeral Service. The name is something we want to keep (because it is descriptive of our location). However, the logo could use a makeover. My wife and I are in our thirties and we have two kids. We are a young family. We are in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area and there is a lot going on here! It is time to retire our old logo and have something new and fresh! We want people to know that we will take great care of them in their time of need. Also, we want them to know that we know how to have unique celebrations of life! It seems everyone today wants to replace 'funeral' with a life celebration – so help us celebrate life with a new and fresh logo.
I think the logo needs to be universal, but it could certainly have a feminine appeal. My wife likes pink, navy blue, grey and turquoise. She likes laurel wreaths. She likes using initials. For instance – a B for Bixby. She likes a stamp feel in a circle (attached below).
Looking forward to what you can do to help!
Updates
I would like to see some logos utilizing dandelions blowing in the wind. Just do a google search and check some of them out. I also think something symbolic of the different seasons in life would be neat. It could have the sun, rain, snow, grass, etc... Or at least colors symbolic of the seasons.
Thanks

My wife came across this today on Pinterest. Maybe this could be used as some inspiration? Really love the tree and colors. (Neat representation of seasons!) Also, would make great art work to hang in Life Tributes!

How about something with a pathway, such as life's journey? Or a footprint, as we all leave an impression here on earth.

Reason: Enjoying the new designs that have been coming in. I have been thinking that it would be nice to see something that can illustrate helping others. Maybe through linking together (i.e. shaking hands, joining hands, hugging, etc...)
Thanks

Well... I still haven't found exactly what I am looking for. I think it may be time to switch gears. Could someone come up with a logo for this... an event center named... Evergreene Chapel. The spelling of evergreene incorporates a last name.

There is some old information lingering in the brief.
This project is for Bixby Funeral Service. I started this project sometime ago for a different business, but it did not materialize. This project is NOT for LifeTributes nor is it for Evergreene. It should not be about the different seasons, etc...
We are looking to update or modernize from the attached logo of Bixby Funeral Service. The current logo uses a very old and traditional B that is pretty typical of funeral homes. My family is a young family and we want to convey family and love and caring in a more modern farmhouse style logo for Bixby Funeral Service. We want to help families begin to heal after loss. We want them to know we are here for them before, during and after a loss.
I'm sorry for any confusion that the brief has cause. I hope this helps!
Thank you for participating.
