T-shirt Design Brief
UDLR is a premium gaming apparel brand. We are just barely getting off the ground and I’m looking for the first design to have at launch along side a simple logo design one. We’re targeting the more mature niche of gamers. People in their 20s 30s, who are professionals outside of when they play video games but they still want to resonate with gaming, just not the gimmicky side of it which is like 99% of gaming apparel today. Looking for high end, clean, simple, design but it’s still a touch of fun. Our motto is life’s a game.

Hello. Thank you for looking into this. I appreciate your time in considering and I hope you can resonate with this and help us make our first graphic design for our launch.
I've been frustrated with using a different platform in finding designers. They would get mad at me for being vague and I understand that, I've been getting better at conveying what I need, but really, they were asking for details, things to copy, etc. I'm reaching out for an artist and someone that can grasp the brand and vision and then mock something up creatively. I don't want to tell you what to do outside of the basic brand guidelines.
That being said, of course I have some companies I like, on how they put designs out while still keeping some class. UDLR is to be premium apparel, never gimmicky minecraft zombie shirts, etc. You know what I mean. It's meant for those older, that may play for a living or work for a living and play video games to connect and unwind. If I see someone with a UDLR shirt, I want to feel "this guy's pretty cool, a mature adult, but likes to game. I'm the same way, maybe I should go see what he plays" (as an example).
I digress. I like how blackclover https://blackcloverusa.com/collections/men-t-shirts puts out their designs. Black clover is natively grown as a golf brand, not like Nike or addidas being a broad brand, but yet a brand that fundamentally was birthed in golfing. Golfing has a premium target audience. People that like quality and to be associated with a clean premium brand, but yet they still have cool tees that have some class to it. That's a good model to follow I'd say with UDLR being fundamentally born in gaming market and appeal, but not trying to copy 99% of the gaming apparel out there that's childish and gimmicky.
I hop this helps. I'll update more later, this has been a lot of typing haha. Sorry for the long read.
Thanks!
