Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my company called Morningside Strategies. I offer executive coaching for individuals and businesses. An executive coach works with clients to help them maximize their personal and professional potential (Think sports coach but for your job.) My goal is to build a coaching practice that mainly works with female executives and media companies. I also do some communications strategy (internal/external communications) for business and non-profits.

I am looking for a logo that conveys seriousness in keeping with the corporate work I do - but also optimism in keeping with the coaching work. So the final design would ideally reflect both aspects of my business.

My company is based in New York City. I chose the name Morningside because I live in the Morningside Heights area but also because I like the morning reference.

Blue is my favorite color so I would love to see designs with that color included. I'm looking for a logo that is class, refined and simple.

Im mindful that my company name is long so I am looking for creative ways to display the name within the context of smaller spaces i.e email signature and social media avatar
