Book Cover Design Brief
I am producing a book about humanitarian work done by Australians in Cambodia, mainly house building in poor villages. The images uploaded have been selected to link to the word 'Adventures' which emphasize Australians and Cambodians working together to bring about meaningful change in the lives of the recipients as well as those giving. The book is a coffee table type book with 50% text 50% images, telling of work done over the last 15 years. Cambodians save a little for their house but the majority is donated by Australians who travel there and actually help build the houses. The lives of both are changed in the process. The book will be landscape format. I have two more images which I am unable to upload - I can attach to an email. I have some text to give you for the back cover, a logo for back cover page, which is attached and authors names: Jim Pollock and Kevin Norris.
The back cover text is here:
'Approaching retirement, Mike and Corinne Gurry decided to use their organisational skills and knowledge in Cambodia to help those less fortunate than themselves own a simple house. They also wanted to empower other West Australians to join them in this work.
Mike and Corrine subsequently created a hands-on volunteering experience where people didn’t just give or raise money to help to build these houses but went to Cambodia to complete their construction.
This book tells the powerful stories of some volunteers, including West Coast Eagles football players and their mothers, who became involved in this work, the people they helped and how lives were transformed.

Requirements
Must have
- The image 'nickshuey' is of a couple of famous sports people and we would like it to be easily viewed though not dominant
Nice to have
- Young and old volunteers - there is no stereotype
Should not have
- Any negative portrayals of Cambodians - not poor, but joyous. It should not suggest giving but experiencing.
