Logo Design Brief

I am after a logo for my construction company. We are a new start up, specialising in middle to high end commercial fitouts and small residential renovations. We aren't competing with large, multi-national construction companies - more so competing with niche, boutique construction firms.

We would like our new logo to reflect the look and feel of our brand - edgy, clean and modern. It can be coloured or black and white. We like the 'less is more' approach. We also like basic fonts but with a modern affect. Happy to use different shapes or lines to emphasise elements of the logo - in fact we would probably prefer something like this rather than a simple lettermark logo.
