Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for an annual somewhat competitive but also very fun, inclusive event that has been going on for decades at our club. It's called the Rough & Smooth and the club name is Essex County Club in Manchester, MA. The design might incorporate 2 racquets, or the club name. Club colors are Red and White, but this event is played on grass courts, so that might somehow be communicated in the logo. I believe the name of the event refers to the surface of the tennis racquets years and years ago having a rough and a smooth side, for what that's worth.
