Logo Design Brief

This is a new logo for a long existing snake catching business. We service several areas of Brisbane, Queensland (Australia). The old logo is from the 80s so it's time to update it to make it more modern.
A simple, unique, recognisable logo.
Incorporating a carpet python, drawn simplistically above the wording
This logo is to be appealing to both the general public and corporate clientele.
Wording for the logo is to say “Snake Catchers” as the main title.
Under this title is “Brisbane”, “Gold Coast”, “Ipswich”, “Brisbane & Gold Coast” & “Ipswich & Logan”
So that is 1 main logo with 5 different subheadings.
The logo will be used for Facebook, websites, business cards and magnets.

Target Market(s)

We have clients that are from very large businesses as well as the general public. The logo needs to be simple and elegant to target a very wide market.

Requirements

Must have

• Everything included in my design brief.
  It must say Snake Catchers. Please refer to the design brief.
  It must have a snake. A snake outline is preferable as it is less tacky and less distracting then a patterned snake.
  The location should say Brisbane but this needs to have the ability to be changed for each of our locations.
  Colours must be earth tones. Nothing overwhelming. Think greens, browns etc

Nice to have

• Elegance.
  Clear readability.

Should not have

• No childish writing. Nothing flamboyant.
