Logo Design Brief
UPDATE: Some designs I've gotten in are probably a little more "modern" than I envisioned. Other things I'm not crazy about...I don't care for a stenciled look and anything too abstract. Thank you for your help and participation.
UPDATE#2: Here are some logos I've come across that I liked on the web...

Hi...I have a small video production company in Central Florida, Whitney Media Productions. We produce high quality custom videos for successful small businesses, not-for-profits and some larger corporations. The majority of those projects are marketing videos, as well as some training and video content for the web. We produce documentary-style projects as well. We don't do weddings or event type videography, and we generally don't do broadcast commercials...more corporate based.
To give you a little more detail, the last 3 projects I have produced have been for a local chapter of MADD where we produced an emotional story based on the loss of a family member. I have also produced a series of videos for a very successful web designer who has clients worldwide. Those videos profile their company and brand their owner/designer as a 'personality' businesses are seeking to work with. I also produced a video for military defense contractor highlighting a recent company "team-building" event.
The budgets we work on right now range generally in the $2500-$5000 range, so it's not the higher, higher end client that is seeking me out. People hire my company based on the quality I produce, and because we're detail-oriented and we give great customer service.
Right now I have an oval style logo using Coolvetica and I can't say that I've ever really liked it. I like the color blue, but I'm open to your suggestions. I'm looking for something clean, good lines, that reflects professionalism, but still has a creative twist to it. I'm about to change the look of my current website (www.whitneymedia.tv) and I'm considering this template:

Naturally I want to use this logo for business cards, my Facebook business page and eventually tshirts or polos.

Updates
                                                        Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I'd like to see a few remaining changes, plus I haven't been available much of today for feedback. Thank you for your understanding.

Sorry for the huge delay, I apologize.  I sincerely appreciate everyone's patience and their work.  There's so much skill and talent in this community.  I'll make a final decision tomorrow.  Thank you again...and I appreciate your patience.

Target Market(s)
Decision makers....corporate communication directors, marketing directors, sales managers, training managers, HR people, successful small business owners, not-for-profits, entrepreneurs, internet marketing companies, any ethical company interested in using video as a tool to enhance or market their business. Most likely these people will have some type of college education. I generally work with mid to higher level corporate employees in larger corporations. I only work with CEOs when I'm dealing with a small business. In that case it's either a CEO, general manager, marketing director or the owner. The age range is probably anywhere from 30-65.

Requirements
Must have
- Whitney Media Productions

Nice to have
- I like the color blue. I'm really in search of great ideas and I don't want to get in the way of that. Maybe something with the initials of my company...but that is absolutely not a must have. I'm searching for your inspiration.

Should not have
- Not crazy about pink, or wild colors. I don't think thin serif fonts translate well on video.
