We need a new logo design for a project that is being done by our organization.
We just had our overall logo redesigned here. The colors of the project logo should complement our organization's logo. The tetradic color scheme provides ideas. Our organization logo is and colors are attached.
The project logo should complement but have its own look and feel.
The audience are professionals and caregivers who are themselves American Indian or Alaska Native or who provide public health services to American Indian or Alaska Native people.
Our primary population of interest are older Native Americans but we want to have appeal to people as they are aging across the spectrum (not just older adults).
Attributes that we'd like to come to mind when people think about our organization: empower, informed, trustworthy, respected, indigenous, healthy. hopeful, positive, brave, welcome
If we go with a combination logo, ideally the image/ logo could be used as a stand-alone on materials and websites to share with our partners ). Or we need a logo that is more compact.
Thoughts on imagery for combination logo: Please don't use Indian headdress, war bonnets, dreamcatchers -- we are looking to steer away from Native American imagery that is perceived as hackneyed (overdone).
Colors: Earth tones, that complement our current logo, the group really likes green, nothing too dark of a color scheme and something that is appealing to younger / middle age Native cohorts (prefer NOT primary colors). We are open to multi color or single color options.
This is our current website which will be re-designing, updating and modernizing once we have our new logo and color scheme: www.iasquared.org
Attached is our current logo for reference.
