Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a memorable logo to help launch a new business, JEM Homes, a real estate and renovations company that purchases and renovates residential homes in need of some love. The logo needs to reflect the multi-faceted nature of the business, which includes researching areas to find the right location and home in need of renovation, determining the scope of the project, and renovating/interior design service to list for rent/resale. While currently based on the east coast, the logo should allow for expansion to other areas. It should be professional yet unique and catchy to stand out from the competition and showcase the idea of putting love into these homes—our tagline is "properties made pretty" so the logo should take on that feel. While we are open to different ideas, off the bat, we are thinking a neutral/earth tone color scheme and abstract lines or graphic treatment vs actual images. The winning logo should communicate confidence, beauty, and professionalism.
