Dear requester,
Just a helpful heads-up: the design you chose as a winner contains a stock photo/clip art apple that may require the purchase of a license. This specific apple design is available from AdobeStock, Dreamstime, and Shutterstock.

Even with a Standard license, you may not:

• Distribute the stand-alone file.
• Create merchandise, templates, or other products for resale or distribution where the primary value of the product is associated with the asset itself. For example, you can't use the asset to create a poster, t-shirt, or coffee mug that someone would buy specifically because of the asset printed on it.
• Transfer the license to more than one employer or client, unless separately licensed for each.

Thank you for the heads up! I feel kinda cheated by this because now the design I chose is pretty much useless. Why is that acceptable from the designers of DesignCrowd? I feel this kind of design should not be offered or at least someone should inform the buyer of the design before purchase so I could have made an informed purchase. Very disappointed to say the least, but thank you again for letting me know I purchased a design that will either cost me more or I won't be able to use at all! This will be the last time I use this site!

Just to be clear, I'm not saying that you can't use it. The designer may have purchased a different license, or could even be the original designer of the apple that appears on those sites.

I am just saying that, before you use the design, you should probably check into it. If you find that you can't use it, report the designer for a refund and they will probabyly get banned.

Every time a designer makes a submission, they must check a box stating whether they used stock photos or clip art. The stock image policy states:

? "Never use stock images, clip-art or purchased vectors in a logo design, illustration design or icon design contest. Use of stock images in any other contest must be declared. You must also be able to demonstrate that you own the rights to any stock images used.
? If you are reported for using stock or copying designs your account will be deactivated without prospect of reactivation."

Please don't blame the site. It is a wonderful tool for both Project Owners and us Designers, as long as the rules are followed.

The apple is usable.

I don't know what's wrong with this app and why I can't leave a comment.

It is easiest to condemn someone because their work did not win.
Jealousy and malice reign.

No one was deceived or robbed. I am sorry that I lost time in this competition.

I don't want this kind of cooperation either.

No jealousy here. I made no submissions to this project.

But thank you for your assumption that anyone who tries to help out a (paying) Project Owner must be doing so out of spite, malice, or jealousy.. It goes to show how toxic and defensive some designers have become on this site.

Good luck in the future.
