Web Design Brief
I am looking for a web design that includes space for a blog, archive and an
“ about me” section. It should be capable of being updated in the future should I decide to build the site. I like edgy, creative, friendly and inviting to go with my logo style.
The Nutrition Workout is an approach to breaking down and rebuilding or just tweaking what needs to be done to reach nutritional fitness. That is the actual workout part....journaling through something I call reflective nutrition. By doing this one can actually see what they are doing well and where they may need to improve. It involves goal setting and analyzing one's relationship with food. the workout is more mental in this approach. Physical activity is definitely a part of a strong nutritional foundation, but here I am focusing on the work that goes into creating a positive nutritionally fit person.
1. Blog Section: this will be the foundation of the website. I will write weekly blogs explaining and encouraging readers to use reflective nutrition approach to discover and explore their relationship with food and create healthy nutritional habits, breaking those that have been detrimental thus far. Journaling and realistic goal setting is the key to this approach.
2. Archive: this is the section to store old blogs by date with ability to retrieve and read again. Readers should gave access to this section.
3. About Me: I am a clinical nutritionist with a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Nutrition. I have over 30 years experience working with both inpatient and outpatient populations covering a myriad of conditions requiring nutritional intervention. I am passionate about my field and my goal is to help others achieve their optimal nutritional health. I will share my personal struggle with attaining nutritional fitness. I have the
unique perspective of being both a nutrition professional and patient.

Hey guys!
I am very new to this process and I apologize for not having much detail. I think I added more that may give you a clearer understanding of my project. I know I said that I didn't plan on using illustrations but I am getting a better picture of what you do. Please use all your creative tools and talents and imaginations! But read my description of what the actual nutrition workout is. It is more of a mental not physical workout. I will respond to your questions and suggestions. I welcome them. Have fun with this!!! I look forward to seeing your work. .

Complementary color scheme to the logo but not white, if at all possible. I don't plan on using illustrations so I am relying on the web design to draw people in. It cannot be dull or bland but still professional.
It must be inviting and personable, not intimidating
I may want to update and add on later. Site should be capable of doing
that....should be buildable.
I love the font that was used in the name of my logo and would like to stay consistant with that, if possible.

- A way to monitor people who visit and return.
Maybe a counter to see how many people have visited
Would it be possible to prominently display my logo on the first page with my contact information and have that open directly to my blog page? Also, would the block page have to be a white background? I prefer it to be a color if that is complementary to the logo olor scheme

- Please no illustrations of a gym.
This isn’t a blog about physical fitness. It is a blog requiring people to think about what they consume on a daily basis, breaking bad eating habits and creating positive, healthy ones.
I tried to get pictures and illustrations to use but due to licensure restrictions, I was unable at this time. Although your designs are brilliant, I may not be able to supply appropriate illustrations to do your designs justice.
