Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo design. In the short future we will also need more stuff to complete our rebranding of the company, like the design of the bag where the product is contained (25 kg paper bag), company papers, invoice papers etc. Our company trades and produces chemical raw materials for bakery & confectionery. It is a high technology field of food production as it involves a lot of chemistry & physics. Our colors that we are up to now known in the market with are primarily dark blue and dark grey and as secondary yellow (orange yellow) and black. Alternatively we were thinking to go closer to pharmaceutical color combinations like dark blue with light blue. We are thinking something like a wheat or wheat kernel with electrons orbiting around it but we are not completely locked in this if something better arises. Something including our field ie. bakery in combination with chemistry or physics, without the last two being too explicit (ie. must be discrete) could suit us.
