Book Cover Design Brief

I am seeking a book cover for my novel, that includes a very Americana theme. Very briefly, the story's line is as follows;

During an undisclosed date in the future, America has fallen victim to the strong arm of an out of control government. After suffering through crippling tax hikes, an abolished Second Amendment and hefty restrictions on religious and First Amendment liberties, the feds are now beginning to seize land owned by private citizens, to alleviate overcrowding on the east and west coasts.

The conservative citizens of America are pushed to the breaking point. A rouge National Guard unit goes AWOL and orchestrates a strike against the National Security Agency (NSA), in an attempt to start reigning in the unbridled power of Washington. Several smaller gorilla type attacks follow.

The federal government fights back, ultimately imposing sanctions against thirteen midwestern states, who they believe have Guard units that were involved in the attacks. These states become known as the, MIDDLE STATES. The Middle States ban together and refuse to cooperate with the federal government. The populous of these states take up arms and vow to fight until the end to restore the freedoms they once enjoyed. A tactical showdown ensues between the Middle States and the federal government.

The story has heart pounding scenes of military type operations launched by both Washington and the Middle States. It also follows the personal hardships of a private citizen and his family who become separated in the chaos.

I believe a cover with an artists rendition of a rural farm house would be a great backdrop. A flag pole in the front yard proudly displaying the American flag, and a man raising the newly founded Middle States flag below it would represent the story well. Small details such as a deer rifle strapped over the mans back would also support the story line.

I am very open to ideas for this cover. My idea outlined above is merely my thoughts of what I envisioned for a cover.
