Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our soccer (football) club. We are a Semi-Professional team and club based out of Lodi, California. We are looking for a logo that makes a bold statement but is also aesthetically pleasing. We have an existing logo, but we are looking for something better. Designs can be similar to our existing logo or a completely new concept, the choice is up to the designers. We want to use our existing color scheme burgundy (maroon)/ light blue (please refer to Original Logo for Color Match).
