The brief is kind of ambiguous so once again I would like to know the name of the project? Is it "Make a Difference" or "Gold Ribbon Clothing"/ Gold RibbonS Clothing" or something else?
Also I would like to know what is the target audience for your products? Moms, Kids, NGO's etc....?
Can you please be a little more specific about the "modern look" stated in the brief...this notion could engulf at thousands of styles and it would be nice to narrow down the possibilities a little bit:).
Maybe attach a few reference pictures for style you like or examples to give us an idea about the creative path we need to take to visualize your vision?

I am looking for something that can be put on any type of clothing, but also look good on a website or banner. The target audience is anyone, the main goal is to raise money for childhood cancer and help raise awareness- the modern part is so it doesn't get out-dated anytime soon, I want it to last.

Gold Ribbon Clothing is the name of the company, Make A Difference is a slogan.
