Logo Design Brief

The concept of the veil is spiritual as this will be a Christian organization. Basically, God has always interacted with His people (Jews and Christians) behind a "veil" - the veil could have been a cloud or literal face covering (Abraham), a curtain in the temple or most powerfully, through the flesh of Jesus. Jesus is also known in Christianity as the "bridegroom" and over the centuries, he has been "wooing" his "bride" - the church, that is, those who follow him. Jesus went ahead of us all as a forerunner. In the book of Hebrews, it says that he has become the "anchor" "within the veil" - our hope. With Jesus anchored in God, He absorbs our sin and we are absolved, allowing us for the first time since sin entered our lives to be "within the veil" - a place of holiness and great intimacy with the Father.

In my ministry, I reveal the devotion of Christ as He draws us within the veil to reconcile with our Heavenly Father.

There are some key symbols:
-the veil: in Hebrew meaning - separation; in Greek meaning - covering. The veil can either (necessarily) separate us from the perfect holiness of God, or through Jesus (and His shed blood), we can enter the veil and be covered by His grace
-the anchor: that's my personal connection and the connection to the new testament which ultimately reveals "the good news" that I will be sharing. So, I am looking for something nautical, but simple. I am attaching a very simplistic idea of what could work. I am not an artist CLEARLY, but it has the veil, the anchor and the cross (the cross is totally optional - I want to make sure people are not put off by a religious symbol as this message is for everyone - all our welcome "within the veil" but if it is delicately included that could work)
-style: I would like something modern and elegant. something that can appeal to children, teens, adults and elderly. It can be simple, but needs to be beautiful, evoking peace, hope and a sense of belonging.

FYI: The motto for the ministry is: Anchoring our Hope in God.
