Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a veterinary service that offers mobile (will come to you) full-service care that focuses on relationships with owners/pets/veterinarians. We would like a final design that will transfer well to merchandise as well as represent our brand. We will care for dogs/cats primarily. We are fear free certified and will provide veterinary medical care in partnership with pet owners, concentrating on supporting the owner as the primary caregiver through communication, education, innovation, and prevention in order to keep the pets in our lives. We hope to form partnerships with families for quality lifelong veterinary care. I have uploaded a quick mock-up of something the Dr. thought of for an idea, along with the original picture the idea was based on. This is a picture of the Drs favorite personal dog and cat. We are open to colors and ideas, but simple is preferred.
