Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new brand of eyeglasses frames based in Mexico called Lemur. We develop a affordable, cool and high quality eyeglasses for kids and adults.
The name Lemur was inspired by the big eyes Madagascar animal.
The logo will be printed on the frame so should be able to be reduced without losing the shape.
An option could is the word Lemur (The L could be the black and white tail)
For the case a minimalist draw like the images below could be an option.
Some ideas... but we are open to your inspiration.
