We need a logo design for a boutique coworking space in Kelowna, BC, Canada. It is a small office with a few private and open work stations and one boardroom. The location of the The Attic is the top floor of a building called "The Core’. It is a renovated heritage building located in Kelowna’s Cultural District. The building was previously a fruit packing warehouse, now renovated into a modern multi-use office building that showcases a part of Kelowna’s history. We are naming the coworking space "The Attic on Ellis" for a few reasons. 1) its on the top floor of the building 2) we want to blend old with new, like the building 3) Many great companies started their journeys in less than stellar work spaces like garages, attics, basements, vans. you name it!. Our ideal demographic, is serious start ups, entrepreneurs and freelancers, who appreciate surrounding themselves with a bit of history and a workspace that has a cool vibe. The interior design for the space is vintage meets modern, Think Great Gatsby, Speakeasies, Roaring 20's, geometric lines, blended with industrial modern look of metals, brass, high tech keypad entries etc.. The Design board for the space is attached below. We intend to use the logo on the wall when you enter the space, on kitchenware like mugs, t-shirts, social media platforms. etc.. so transparent background version as well as scaleable, greyscale, useable for both print and web use would be ideal.
We want the logo to entice people to inquire about the space: give off a sense of exclusivity, secret society, a sense of wonderment as to what the Attic is. Make them guess a little but not so abstract that they cannot make the connection.. I want the logo to evoke in people "I want to work out of that space" feeling.. It should be elegant, edgy and have a unique cool vibe.

Requirements
Must have
- - "On Ellis" must not be the focus of the Logo. the Focus should be "The Attic".
- Reference to the art deco era, roaring 20's.
Nice to have
- 1- The legal name will be the Attic on Ellis, but it will be lovingly called the Attic for short. Consider, making "the Attic" the prominent words in the logo and "on Ellis" less dominant. but am open to all sort sorts of ideas!
2- Consider using an Art Deco Fonts; Gatsby, speakeasies, art nouveau. sample fonts: https://hipfonts.com/art-nouveau-fonts/
2b) I love Moshik Nadav's, Lingerie XO and Pro typography styles as well: https://dribbble.com/Moshik-Nadav
3- Consider having some words written vertically, "on ellis" perhaps?
Should not have
- Please do not submit a logo design from a template/package you can buy online for Id or Ai or from stock.. If we wanted those typical fonts and shapes, we would buy the bundle ourselves and make our logo in house.
We do not want any design that reference a house or a window- we will entertain the look of "skyscrapers" you see in the Art Deco era or design.
Nothing too swirly or romantic...
