Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new company based in Toronto, Ontario called 'Vibrodyn Services Inc.'

The company is a consulting firm that specializes in vibrational analysis of mechanical equipment, mainly in the energy / power generation industry. I have no real guidelines for the design and am open to all suggestions/designs. With respect to colour, there should be some but nothing too flashy please. The design should be a clean design that somehow incorporates some sort of symbolism that signifies vibration.
