Tattoo Design Brief

I have a 8"x6" celtic cross on my left thigh that I am looking to have some additional color and design added to. The design can go outside of the current tattoo outline as well. I would like to see what ideas you can come up that will add some of the following to the design to give it the look of a good vs evil, religion vs dark side message:

1. Add an inverted pentagram
2. Add a serpent
3. Add darker shades of red to the design
