Just a few suggestions and these will not suit some designs.
If it is a choice of putting the under canopy lights at the back or at the front I would prefer them at the back of the rangehood.
In the case of a trangler style canopy it would be an advantage if the filters were higher up inside the canopy rather than at the botton which is the most common design on the market.

Angled filters are also of interest,

Liked it a lot I am just trying to figure out if it can be made as it is has complicated folds.

Great job.

I would like you to condider a few of your ideas.

Round front corners are great, the buttons and led displays are also good.

I prefer the filters higher up into the canopy this angled upwards design would enable one to do this with 2 smaller filters.

The flue cover could be rounded at the front 2 edges.

Cheers Tom
