Logo Design Brief

Covenant Royalties is an oil and gas investment firm who specializes in buying and selling mineral rights and royalties. We need a company logo that is simplistic enough to look modern and clean on all company documents, card, and marketing but also masculine and bold enough to stand out amongst the thousands of other O&G companies. Something along the lines of a Crusader Knights helmet or shield could be interesting. A crest of some sort would also be welcomed. We are open to color suggestions but must stay away from reds/maroons. Dark greens, greys, navy are contenders and a complementary accent color would be great. We are open to an old world style or modern take on the above suggestions.
