Logo Design Brief

We need some creative ideas for a new company logo. The company name is National Response Catering. The company responds to emergency catering needs for areas struck by a disaster. Hurricanes and wild fires are the two largest categories we support but can and will support floods, tornadoes, and earthquakes as well. Our idea for a logo would use the company name or the companies initials and have sometime of symbol to bring in the types of disasters we work with. One thought was to use something similar to a Fire Department maltese cross, sample image uploaded, and have the different disaster symbols placed in the cross, sample disaster symbols uploaded. It would have to be different enough to not be confused as a fire department. Let's see some creativity!
