Logo Design Brief

Far Horizons Gallery exhibits and sells fine art in a variety of mediums from those near and far. We need a logo.

We're located in a rural village called Folsom in Southeast Louisiana. Celebrated for agriculture and equestrian industries, Folsom is also renown for its rolling foothills off ancient river tributaries, a post-boomed lumber industry, and reclusive artists who enjoy privacy, self-sufficiency, and few and far encounters on their daily paths.

Artworks are made markers for people - to distinguish a time, maybe a new beginning or coming of an end, like a sun on a horizon. We want our customers to be filled with a sense of worldly awe and inspiration from Far Horizons Gallery. The design should be sleek and professional, and try to play on the metaphoric nature of Far Horizons, setting/rising suns, convergence of land (hills) and water (creek/rivers).
