Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for a cafe. It will be a kiosk in the lobby of a large office tower that sells coffee, tea, specialty coffee and tea drinks along with breakfast and lunch food items.

I apologize for the recent lack of feedback. I will be sure to give feedback on all designs tomorrow, 3may2012. Until this business starts up I am in the army and they surprised me with a field training event. I will return and have complete access to a computer then.  We appreciate all of the hard work so far from the designers and we encourage any new or current designers to WOW us with your expertise.  We're aiming for something bold, amusing, and professional.  We're opening up in the lobby of an office complex, so it has to include all three of those attributes.  We had mentioned before the concept of having a "Blues Brothers" motif, since our name is Brews Brothers.  Feel free to be expressive.  You can even include a blues music refernece if it fits.  Whats most important to us is that you do your best.  Depth, definiton, style, vibrancy are the key attributes we are striving for.  The best of luck to you all.  Thank you

ok so we have really fine tuned the logo design. Please use cups characters for the logo. We would like to see a cup wearing a sleeve that looks like a suit. Thanks again for all of your time!

We want to thank each and every designer for their hard work.  Your efforts have not been overlooked.  What you do is truly an art form and a skill not many possess.  We began this project really believing that we knew exactly what we wanted, all we needed was a designer to turn our thoughts into a logo.  It has been your designs that have really opened our eyes to new possibilities.  With all of your hardwork in mind, we have been able to pinpoint exactly what we want in a logo.  Cheers to everyone involoved. 

For a color scheme we would like to see reds, oranges, and yellows. These colors subconsciously promote consumption.  The background and shape of the logo is very important.  We need the logo to have all the right kind of angles, so we can transfer it to other products and services (mugs, menus, business cards, stationary).  The background itself has to be the anchor of the logo but at the same time not steal the spotlight from any other entity of the logo.  As mentioned before we still want to go with the "BLUES BROTHERS" movie motif.  We would like to see TWO white coffee cups (not mugs) standing side by side, each doing their own thing.  They have to be different as they represent myself and my business partner.   We want them to be wearing RAY BAN sunglasses and black hats just like in the movie.  The hats need to be resting either on the side or tilted up to reveal the coffee colored inside of the cup.  Feel free to add expressionism to the facial part (eyebrows, noses, mouths) if it fits into the design.  We would also like to see them wearing black suits in the form of a CUP SLEEVE.  This should be situtated on the lower middle of the cup itself.  Our expectation is not to dilute fact that they are in fact still cups. 

We trust that you, the designer will continue to submit new breath-taking designs.  We look forward to choosing the winning design and rewarding the individual with the prize.  We would also like to put out there, that the winning designer will have the opportunity of working with us in the future.

Requirements

Must have

• Be usable on many different canvases from a banner, flyer menu card or business card to a website and merchandise.
  
  Have no background color. (For example: a logo with a white background would look unprofessional on a stainless steel travel mug).

Nice to have

• We are open to the idea but not sold on the idea of coffee beans in suits for a logo. Do not feel limited to this! It is just an idea that we had. You're the creative professionals, use your skills and abilities to blow us away.
