CD Cover Design Brief

UPDATE: Added better drawing of logo design but still probably not exactly to scale.

The album artwork Should be complex and intriguing for the listener to ponder and enjoy while listening to the album. Could incorporate complex geometric patterns. One idea was to have metal pipes twisted into, through and around each other in complex and impossible ways, another idea was to have a Cyclone in the distance but in the foregrounds ‘wake’ is a bridge that is barely recognisable but is twisted and warped (could be an optical illusion) in a way that is not possible from damage by a cyclone but that would have had to have been designed and carefully built that way (but your imagination would conclude that’s it has been distorted by the cyclone).
Ideally the artwork should be something otherworldly, abstract/glitchy, be an optical illusion and/or have geometric complexity.
It should be stressed that I am not locked into one specific idea at the moment and see this process as being an artistic collaboration.
Please note that the artworks format needs to be 3000x3000 pixel jpeg in RGB format to be compatible with streaming services.

To be clear DesignCrowd have indicated that the winner of the album artwork will also receive the logo work. This is the first time I have used this service so I will be guided as to how it all works.

One concept I have had For the “Random Knobhead” logo is to incorporate the K inside of the R.
(I have added a drawing of a logo style to be explored by the winner of the album artwork) but would also like the whole name customised as a complex futuristic style that could be but not necessarily hard to read at a glance or just use the “hexagon” font that I included in the documents.
If intending on incorporating the logo into the artwork design maybe just use an x or an o in the space intended until we finalise the logo’s style.

This is the debut album from "Random Knobhead".

Random Knobhead is a live electronic musician that uses hardware synthesizers and drum machines for live one off unique performances that are difficult to pigeonhole into one specific genre, and that are never truly repeatable, the recordings on this album are captured one off performances.

The album itself “Anachronistic Subsequent” is a harsh but immersive and meditative experience, The albums name is the body of works name only, it's not the name of a single or song that features on it, and in my own words translates to "It happens out of sequence, before its time, now, and will also follow on from itself". The sound is glitchy, technically detailed and a little unpredictable.

The first included document is a wav. file of the last track on the album and should provide an idea of the feel of it and hopefully some inspiration.
I have also added a few examples of album covers I like plus some other pictures I like and should provide examples of what I am into visually. I have also added a photo of font that could be used as, or inspire the Random Knobhead logo, and hand drawn logo idea to explore.
