Logo Design Brief
The device we make is a privacy - respecting human counter. It is a small device that does not record videos, does not send data to the cloud and does not use face recognition technology, so respectful counting. It is COVID-19 social distancing tool to limit the number of people in places like small shops.
It should be a single color logo white on black, suitable for machine engraving. See https://www.protocase.com/products/materials-components-finishes/finishes/machined-engraving.php about machine engraving. It will be silver on black when engraved. But the logo will also be used on credit cards, website and other similar places, so should look where good enough as well.
The concept of the proposed sketch (that does not need to be followed and the colors are not as wanted) includes two shields (representing counting objects of high respect, knights) and the 7 segment LED counter that represents the main functionality (counting) and that electronics/computer technologies are involved.

Requirements
Must have
- The logo should look well both when printed on paper and with machined engraving. Machined engraving is silver on black. However paper versions like copper/gold on black, or where one single color is added are also very interesting and would be acceptable. They still should look well when printed without colors.
The logo must emphasize stability, solidity, trust, reliability and the like.
Should not have
- Do not use any half tone shades and more than two colors (black background being the third).
Do not make the design too aggressive because may impact the inferred trust.
