Logo Design Brief

Who we are:
We are the ASBA – the Austrian Seniors Basketball Association
ASBA is an non governmental, non profit association of male and female austrian basketball seniors between the age of 35+ and 80+, i.e. former club players, who are still actively playing and regularly participating in international tournaments such as world and european championships.
What we need:
A major logo suitable for use on our website, e-mails, letters, social media, sportswear and a vector graphic for our website www.asba.at
What we do:
The ASBA is providing the organisational and administrative framework for those avtive players, such as trainings, coaches, participation in tournaments, etc.
Who we want to reach:
All former and active male and female club players aged between 30 and 80, who are interested in national and international seniors basketball sports, their families and their friends
Our core values:
Passion for basketball and competitive sports, health consciousness, openness, fairness, tolerance, opposed against all kinds of racism and discrimination
What our future Logo should express and stand for:
- the implementation of ASBA as the premier adress in Austria for seniors competitive basketball
- the austrian origin of ASBA
- our core values
What we expect / first thoughts:
We are looking for a logo, which contains following key visuals: basketball, the austrian flag colours, the acronym ASBA. If designwise feasible, the logo should also contain the complete name of the association (Austrian Seniors Basketball Association).
As a supplement and help I upload the old logo, which certainly contains some elements.
