Logo Design Brief

We require a logo design for our publishing studio. Grand Kraken Studios will be publishing board games and role playing game supplements. We would like the logo to be a strong icon that gives a sense of strength and scale.

I'm open to the logo being either simple (powerful Kraken tentacles as the main visual) or more complex (a ship being enveloped in tentacles for example). I also don't mind the idea of an old school crest.

Requirements

Must have

• A Kraken is a giant mythical squid that attacked large ships deep at sea. I would like the logo to include kraken tentacles.
  
  The word studios should be secondary to the "Grand Kraken".

Nice to have

• Im open to both classical and modern logo forms, including icons or crests.

Should not have

• The words Grand and Kraken must be clearly legible.
