Logo Design Brief

We are a PC Gaming Organization that has been catering to players mainly in Australia and New Zealand (also outside these countries) for over nine (9) years and now we are looking for a new logo for our ten (10) year anniversary next year (2021) to move our organization forward with in the future.

Our current logo has done us well; however, it was originally taken from Shutterstock - https://www.shutterstock.com/image-vector/letter-logo-262864910 and we are starting to see it used more often because of it being a generic logo for purchase.

Our gaming history started with the online multiplayer game - Star Trek Online and has continued to expand into the following titles
The Division 1 and 2
Star Wars: The Old Republic
World Of Warships
Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint
With us also waiting for games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Star Citizen / Squadron 42 which will being our next major online multiplayer game.

Requirements

Must have

• Because of the future we have planned we need a bold however simple logo that can scale well and still be recognizable at different sizes. The design needs to be usable on Websites and on Shirts with the Dye Sublimation / Embroidery process.
  
  As part of the design we would like to have a image that we can also use in the image/avatar field of Discord, Facebook, Twitch, YouTube etc.
  
  The logo will be used on our website - ausmonauts.com.au, business cards, advertising, online merchandise (Hats and Shirts), YouTube Video Introductions and with our members that live stream over Twitch.

Nice to have

• Currently we have 2 main colours that we are using, however these are not required to be used in the design.

Should not have

• We do not want a logo that is E-Sports orientated with multiple layers, complex detail and colours as the detail could be lost when resized for our future needs on the Website and when used on Shirts using the Dye Sublimation / Embroidery process to name a few.
  
  No text only logos or Australian themes (Koalas, Kangaroos etc). As we want to be identified worldwide not just as Australian.
