Logo Design Brief

I have a previous logo (which I have attached) but am looking for a bit of an update. I like the design of my previous logo but would like to add a tulip or a windmill (think Holland) in a very subtle way. Holland is very important to my family and subtle imagery of that area would be nice to have in my company logo. My company is a high end Management firm and having a logo that reflects who we are is important. Also, I am a big fan of Gold and Neutral colors that will remain classic for years to come.

The logo is just for my taste. No real target market.
