Logo Design Brief

We are looking for an elegant, relatively simple logo for an engineering consultant and solar / water solutions company. The company is about innovation, ideas and practical development of ideas into designs to meet sustainability challenges. The company name is a combination of "sol" in solutions and "vert", which means green in various romance languages.

Our current vision is a grey / green colour palette; potentially with the company name written in two different colours with “vert”in green. One idea may be to include a leaf, or a similar symbol pertaining to the environment somewhere in the design. We are, however, not prescriptive on this and would like the logo to be based mainly on the company name.
