Backflow preventers need to be tested annually using a backflow test gauge. A backflow test gauge is considered an instrument and is required to be tested and calibrated annually to ensure they are working accurately. We offer that service, along with repair services if the instrument is damaged, and we refer to it as a "Hassle Free" service. We schedule the service for them once they provide their information and then email them a shipping label that they can print out, tape on their box and send the package from their business or home. We have a quick-turnaround time for this service because we understand how important this piece of equipment is for our customers to continue their job.
