Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for an art studio focused on kids called Creative Hive Studios. Would like the logo to be sophisticated, yet playful. It should express that we are a place for kids to create and to have fun. We would like to see designs that incorporate the hexagon shape, bold colors (maybe the hexagons could overlap like a colorwheel- but not necessarily with primary colors). Would like a logo that is flexible and could be used for website branding, retail front signage, sponsorship logos on T-shirts and in a variety of applications. A few versions of the logo may be required to accomplish this- full color versions as well as black/white outline versions. Would eventually like to create a mascot character to go along with the logo- like a bee with a paintbrush- to further convey who we are and what we do. The words Creative Hive should be emphasized more than Studios if possible or if the logo gets too long. The logo shouldn't look too corporate. The attached file shows some images I like. I also put our prior logo in there- we are renaming, reorganizing and rebranding our existing company. With our existing logo, we love the colors, and the font, but feel it is too corporate.

Must have
- Creative Hive should be on one line together- Studios can be on a separate line with less emphasis. But Creative Hive must be together.
Nice to have
- A bee and a hexagon would be nice to have, along with bright colors. Bees should be more friendly cartoon like bees.
Should not have
- Don't make a logo with CHS or our initials prominent in the logo- we will never shorten our name or go by our initials. We would be located in a retail strip center in america- so our logo would need to translate well into signage.
