Logo Design Brief

I need a logo designed for my company called "Manorville Wine & Liquor".
We sell variety of wines and spirits. We offer online shopping and will have an app developed soon. I need a modern/sleek look with. Maroon color is preferred but open to other suggestions. Cartoony and funny fonts are not preferred. Please see attached basic design we have so far but it needs improvement.
