Logo Design Brief
A cairn is a man-made pile of stones. The word cairn comes from the Scottish Gaelic: càrn. Cairns have been and are used for a broad variety of purposes, from prehistoric times to the present. In modern times, cairns are often erected as landmarks, a use they have had since ancient times.
Cairn is also a mountaineering term. Above tree line there are no beaten paths. People build rock piles to guide the hiker to where they want to go.
Rock stacking has carried spiritual meaning across cultures for centuries. The act of balancing stones carries with it a practice of patience and a physical effort of creating balance. Each rock can signify an intention of grace for thankfulness, or offered up for another in need.
Cairn Advisors will guide our customers along the right path. There are many consulting groups that do not have the experience or wisdom to provide the right guidance. When they see the Cairn Logo they will understand that they are hiring partners to get them through a complex technology world.
