Thanks so much for submitting your ideas. I really appreciate the time and effort you've taken to work on this.

Please read my brief before submitting or resubmitting your logos. The main things to consider are: I'm not looking for a corporate design... the logo needs to have a comforting/reassuring feel, while conveying permanence, in line with this being a place people need to trust, and feel happy turning to when in distress.

In choosing the name 'raincoat' I have given myself a job to do in making a connection between the product (counselling) and the idea of providing shelter through life's bad weather. I'm keen to see ideas that incorporate a simple image to bring this out. Which doesn't necessarily need to be a raincoat...

Thanks again!

Wow. You guys are amazing :-) Thank you for continuing to submit designs - linking the company name to its service (counselling / place of shelter) is where I'm still focusing my attention in assessing designs. Trees and leaves (while providing shelter) create a sense of an environmental/organic company and lead the customer down a wrong path in my opinion.

I'm still imagining a design that gives the feeling of someone wearing a raincoat/gaining shelter, perhaps sketched somehow into the 'R' of Raincoat. I've tried not to be prescriptive, as I want to see ideas, but appreciate I've created a somewhat challenging task ;-)

Font... I want this to feel safe and reliable, but not in your face bold or overly corporate. It needs to retain a softness, but not feel flighty or 'style over substance'. Any people images need to be non gender specific. NZ has one of the highest rates of male suicide in the world, and my brand needs to resonate with them, and not feel 'feminine' in any way.

It has been brought to my attention that 1 or 2 ratings are detrimental to a designer, and the last thing I want to do is stifle creativity, so I will be changing 2's to 3's and eliminating the designs that are too far away from my brief. Bear with me - while I've worked with lots of designers in the past, I am a Design Crowd newbie ;-)

Again, thanks - I'm really impressed by your work!
