Logo Design Brief

We are extending our company logo, Barrie Scuba House, to our recently purchased drysuit company, Custom Diving Services. CDS specializes in the repair of all makes & models of dry suits, including zipper replacement, neck & wrist seal replacment and puncture holes. The logo design SHOULD FOLLOW THE SAME ARCHITECTURE of Barrie Scuba House but incorporate a different background colour and a different icon such as a drysuit, a tech mask or a drysuit valve. Resulting logo should be masculine and communicate technical experience with a sense of adventure.

Target Market(s)

Primarily men, aged 25-60 who are recreational or technical scuba divers. Also do business directly with fire departments and police departments

Requirements

Must have

• Design must resemble the logo for parent company Barrie Scuba House (logo attached) but with a different logo & colouring. Wording "Custom Diving Services" to be in same font and size (colour can change) as Barrie Scuba House, preferably on the left of the icon. Must have an eye-catching & industry relevant logo such as a drysuit icon, tech mask or drysuit valve. Prefer to have the same gradient bar across the bottom as Barrie Scuba House for continuity. A different background colour selected should compliment parent company logo.

Nice to have

• Military feel, masculine.
  Nice to incorporate a feeling of water, like the same water lines as in the Barrie Scuba House logo
  Nice to incorporate a red & white scuba dive flag somewhere.
  Nice to have the logo to also be able to extend horizontally for website

Should not have

• Nothing feminine
  No icons of fins or wetsuits (drysuits only)
  Nothing inappropriate, sexual
  Should not be just a word mark logo - needs to include pictoral/combination logo.
