Logo Design Brief

I want to re brand my current cafe logo. I've used the current logo for over 8 years and was hoping for a bit of a fresh start to go with a few minor renovations I'm making at the cafe. The cafe is an outdoor courtyard style cafe. We're a relaxed local cafe close to the beach. We are very busy and sell lots of coffee, We are open for breakfast lunch and dinner. We plan on having live music on Sunday afternoons as well. t's an alfresco cafe with lots of plants, tree's and fairy lights. We.re very family orientated and pet friendly.
I'm not real fussed about colours as long as it's nice and simple. The main branding that I will also be using the new logo for is take away coffee cups. So I want it to be nice and simple and easy to read on the side of coffee cups. Coffee cups will be either black on white or white on black. If it's a funky design we can go 2 colours on white no problem.
Something funky would be good.
