Logo Design Brief

Design a logo for SaaS product at the domain name "approva.app".

The SaaS product is an institutional resource management system initially targeted for schools at the K1-12 level.

The logo should communicate a sense of purposefulness and ease of use.

Approva is a cloud-based institutional resource management system (IRMS) that streamlines complex workflows across a school's administration, communications and operational processes. It features a highly customizable approval schema that lets schools maximize their operational efficiency and facilitate seamless communication between individuals and departments.

Approva helps teachers, administrators, and department heads manage complexity with ease, alleviate huge administrative workloads, and make better decisions quickly and easily.

The Approva mobile app lets teachers access information and perform administrative tasks easily on-the-move while the Web-based tool allows desk-bound staff to harness a larger screen real-estate to carry out certain administrative tasks with even greater efficiency.

Based on actual requirements gathered from schools, Approva is streamlined to work in most school environments which leads to time savings and operational efficiency for the school administration. Approva is an upgrade from the award* winning tool TeamNote for Education - built from the group up, it incorporates the features found in the predecessor and makes them better.

Approva aims to be a one-stop platform for all the school's administrative needs. Through a tight integration between software and hardware, Approva helps educational institutes coordinate their processes, services, HR resources, facilities, and communications effectively through a multi-device, single-platform user experience.

Requirements

Must have

• There should be at least two variations of the logo, one for website and marketing
  collaterals and the other as an icon for the mobile app (aspect ratio 1:1, minimum
  resolution of 1024 x 1024 pixels).

Nice to have

• May incorporate a mix of illustration and typography.
  
  A tick (✓) would be appropriate to place in the logo as the function of the app is to streamline the application and approval of school processes. At the same time, the name of the product is Approva (approval less the 'l').

Should not have

• No more than 3 colors should be used for the logo.
