Logo Design Brief

Apex -
Symbolises the top of the food chain. I'd like this to be represented by an Orca (Killer Whale) or possibly a larger bull orca flanked by two smaller orcas. Thought was three dorsal fins could roughly approximate the shape of a pyramid. Therefore the colour scheme is black and white, possibly with some gold trim incorporated.
The Apex also symbolises a pyramid, with the foundation skills at the base, progressing up to peak performance at the apex of the pyramid. The primary focus of the business is the technical and tactical skills required at the elite level.

Target Market(s)

Basketball players from youth - 5 to elite professional players
For youth players, say 5-14, their parents are important as they provide finance

  Hand drawn concept - best indicator of desired look. Incorporate the basketball into the belly. The adjacent dorsal fins don't need to be there necessarily... if can be utilised to make a streamlined appearing pyramid shape around the central dorsal fin then good ... in addition, having seen a few designs, I prefer the APEX BASKETBALL to be horizontal please
