Logo Design Brief

I need a logo designed for Japan Powder Guides, a company that takes people backcountry skiing in Japan's incredible powder. You can check out the website for pictures and the company vibe at https://japanpowderguides.com
I would like the logo to be fairly simple, although it should resonate with being Japanese, having a Japanese feel to it and also being identifiable to skiing in the mountains. If you don't know about Japan backcountry skiing, it's known for it's very deep and light powder snow and leafless birch trees in the winter. Japanese culture is very friendly, respectful and organised. I think I'd like to avoid the rising sun military insignia, it's used a lot and I think it's also disrespectful to the Japanese people. I do like elements of traditional Japanese art and also the beautiful traditional writing style. There are lots of very generic mountain symbols out there, I don't want one of these.
People who do this sort of thing, backcountry skiing, are looking for the ultimate powder experience, a deep powder that flows around their body and face. They are adventurous people and funloving. Good luck I hope you enjoy your process.
