Logo Design Brief

We need to create a new corporate logo for Datum Technology Corporation. The company is trying to revolutionize the field of microprocessors, electronic design automation and semiconductors by making open-source and 3d chip designs possible. The current field is very conservative, and Datum is aiming to disrupt the marketplace and keep Moore's law going by stealing all the best ideas from software and web technologies. Current (homemade) logo attached.
