Logo Design Brief
We are re-branding our Chamber of Commerce . Our name is Vermilion & District Chamber of Commerce.
We are a small rural community consisting of Small Business Commercial Business and Agriculture entrepreneurs. We are based in Alberta Canada. We would like the logo to represent small business, agriculture and be easily identifiable. The logo should have a meaning/story and represent our area and membership. We would like to incorporate, Red, Blue and Gold as the colours.
We encourage you to view our website, www.vermilionalbertachamber.com as well as out town website, www.vermilion.ca and our County website www.vermilion-river.com
These websites are to give you a feel for our community and area. We do not want our logo to represent or to look like we are associated with the County or the Town.
We are a non-profit organization that works on behalf of the local Businesses to help improve the business relationship between town and County. We are also strong supporters of shopping local and looking for a logo that will inspire growth and sustainability for our Region.

- We have some more information to assist in the build of the logo.
Our idea is to have a CIrcle, and inside that circle, a thick line of green (representing our farms and Agriculture) and a thick line of Blue (representing our river), a Highway as we are located one of the main Canadian Highways. Then we would like a silhouette or outline of a Mom and Pop Retail Store, a Grain Elevator and an Oil Pump. We would also consider a outline or silhouette of a small town, no skyscrapers or tall buildings. Could even add the Grain Elevator and Oil Pump into this if interested.
We would also entertain a logo that is based on using the letters V and C (Vermilion Chamber)
