Graphic Design Brief
We're 3 chaps from North West England who met at Film School. Now deep into their thirties with limited time to socialise, we thought we'd get together to record a podcast and talk about the thing we love most - movies. But not just any ol' movie, the discarded ones no one loves, the critics hated or no one went to see. For Your Reconsideration is a podcast for movies that deserve a second chance.
Initially the concept was to be quite serious and be about genuine forgotten classics, but it has since evolved into a way more fun conversation about films that are actually pretty rubbish, but ones that we love anyway.
The initial logo design was made to reflect this "Oscar worthy" conceit, but it just does not suit it anymore and we are in desperate need for a rebrand. Something fun, eye-catching and immediately obvious it's about cinema to have a blast with.
Here's a link to the pod itself so you can get the vibe:

I've also attached the current logo/cover for reference.

Target Market(s)
All types of movie fans. I think naturally we would appeal to men simply because we are men - but this isn't a pre-requisite or an intention.

Requirements
Must have
- 3000px by 3000px in size. A modern aesthetic and unique/stand-out typeface with an eye-popping colour scheme.
Nice to have
- Some sort of bespoke illustration would be great. Even better if you can manage to get a cartoon version of ourselves on there. I've attached photos of each of us should you wish to do this and need photo references to what we look like!
- Rob is the host. Very well articulated. Superb laugh. Loves Jean-Claude Van Damme.
- Simon is the editor of the pod, kind of tech lead and came up with the concept. Loves absolutely everything. Big Trouble in Little China is his favourite movie of all time.
- James is the knowledgable one who does all the research and really knows his stuff. Is probably the more cultured of the three and is astute in his critical treatment of the films we cover.
Should not have
- We're trying to avoid completely generic film podcast tropes like microphones and cinema screens.
