Podcast Design Brief
UPDATED BRIEF:
I need artwork for a podcast called Crazy Shit in Body Shops. It needs to be 3000 X 3000 pixels and a PNG format.
I was told my brief was too vague so here is some more clarity:
The podcast will be an interview format featuring a guest each week who will tell about their crazy, unbelievable, surprising story about their experience in the body shop world. I will then discuss with them their experience and we will attempt to gain some wisdom or practical advice from their story. Most of the stories will be fun and humorous in nature, therefore the podcast will be a fun experience. Guests will mainly be men and women who work in or own a body shop or collision shop, but may also include other people who work in the industry such as paint manufacturers or other vendors, distributors and even consumers who have had a crazy experience with a body shop.
The podcast is supposed to be entertaining with some good laughs but with the intention of bringing value as well.
I want artwork that will translate well to t-shirts, mugs, caps or other merchandise if I decide to go that route. Also, the design needs to be able to be fitted to or scaled for other social media platforms in the future.
Any questions, please reach out.

Target Market(s)
The first round of promoting the podcast will be to people who work in the body shop industry. That will be where the most interest lies. Second target is the general public. I believe the content will relate well to a broad audience give that, next to our homes, our vehicles are generally our most expensive acquisitions. It's also where we spend a great deal of our time. And most people will in their lifetime visit a body shop for a a repair.

Requirements
Must have
- Definitely color. Something vibrant. At least three colors. The first two words in the podcast title, Crazy Shit need to be more dominant in the design than the words Body Shop, but I don't want Body Shop to be a lot smaller. The word In can be very small.
- I'm leaning towards having my photo in the design since I am the host, but it's not something I'm 100% committed to. I would be okay without it if the design communicated what I am looking for, which is, that the podcast will be a whole lot of fun and a little bit of crazy. I uploaded a couple of photos, but ideally I would like to have me in something more casual. Also, if your color palette would work better with me in another color or pose, let me know and I will take some more pictures.
Nice to have
- I do think the design should have some type of vehicle in it, a car or a truck, but one that shows some type of damage. It should look like it belongs in the body shop.
Should not have
- It should not have an old school style car or truck. It cannot be something that looks like a restoration project. Collision repair is different than the restoration of old cars. My podcast relates to the modern day collision repair shop not the restoration shops you see on the reality TV shows.
